Reduce in printing charges in e-filing

The Supreme Court registry has agreed to reduce print charges for petition e-filing from Rs 6 per page to Rs 3 per page per petition.

Now the register will charge 75 paise per page for 4 copies as a total of 0.75 paise x 4 copies = Rs 3 per page per petition for e-filing instead of the old rate as Rs 1.5 per page for 4 copies as total of Rs 1.5 X 4 copies = Rs 6 per page per petition 

The Supreme Court gave decisions when the Supreme Court Advocates on Record Association (SCAORA) had requested the concerned authorities to exempt these charges for e-filing. The registry has decided to reduce these charges by half instead of granting exemption.
