About the Youth Parliament society 

The Youth Parliament Society (YPS) is the central society of Graphic Era Hill University, founded by the School of Law. It operates across the Graphic Era Group of Institutions. YPS is dedicated to fostering political awareness, leadership, and critical thinking among students. The society actively organizes National Youth Parliaments, Model United Nations (MUNs), and policy discussions, providing a platform for students to engage in meaningful debates and policymaking. YPS has hosted acclaimed events like RASHTRAWAD and has received Best Delegation Awards in various national Youth Parliaments and MUNs.

The Objective of the Event

It supports the concept of assembling, arguing, and assessing. 

It furthers Democracy and growth and the sustenance of Democratic institutions through deliberation and simulations.

It provides the participants an upright platform for acquiring or improving upon many skills, such as public speaking, debate, presentation, research, and organizational skills, and thus aids their personal development.

Eligibility Criteria 

It is open to all school students and students enrolled bona fide on a regular basis in an undergraduate or postgraduate course or equivalent conducted by any institution.

Registration Fee for Gehu & Geu Students – ₹ 800/-

Registration Fee for Others- ₹ 1500/-

(Negotiable if there is minimum 10 participants from a university)
