ICFAI Law School Presents the 1st National Trial Advocacy Competition, 2023
About the Event
ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University, Dehradun is pleased to announce its 1st National Trial Advocacy Competition, 2023, which is to be held in hybrid mode. The Prelims and Quarters would be conducted in online mode, i.e., from 28th to 29th October 2023 respectively; followed by the Semi-finals on 18th November 2023 and the finals on 19th November 2023, both to be held on-campus at the ICFAI University, Dehradun. This competition is organized in synchronization with the vision and objective of the ICFAI University, i.e., acquiring domain knowledge, developing professional skills, and its application in the practical world. The competition strives to give a platform to the budding lawyers of our country to imbibe analytical skills in real-time situations. The ultimate aim is to engage with students and allow them to experience the complexities of the law.
Eligibility
This competition is open to students currently enrolled in LLB three-year or five-year courses during the academic year.
Team Composition
Each team shall consist of 5 members, including 2 Speakers and 3 Witnesses.

Institutions/teams interested in participating in the competition must provisionally register by filling out the provided form. After receiving confirmation of provisional registration via email from the Organizers, teams should complete the formal registration and payment process.

- Only the first 32 teams to register will secure a spot in the competition.
- Participants will receive an automated acknowledgement upon successful registration submission.
- The registration process will conclude only after full payment of the registration fee.
