Former Gujarat HC judge, Justice RR Tripathi appointed as Chairperson of Gujarat Human Rights Commission
Former judge of the Gujarat High Court, Justice Ravikumar Rameshwardayal Tripathi has been named as the Chairperson of the Gujarat State Human Rights Commission by the Governor of Gujarat. Governor Acharya Devvrat by the powers of Section 22 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993, has named Equity (retd) Tripathi as the Chairperson of the GSHRC by a notice dated September 2.
The suggestion to form the arrangement was made by a committee comprising of Chief Serve Vijay Rupani (as the Chairperson); Speaker of authoritative get together, Advocate Rajendra Suryaprasad Trivedi; pioneer of the resistance, Paresh Dhanani and the State Domestic Serve, Pradeepsinh Jadeja.
