Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana HC constituted a committee determining the Modus Operandi for the functioning of courts:

While the prevalence of the novel coronavirus covid-19, the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana HC constituted a committee involving Senior most Judge’s for determining the functioning of the courts in Chandigarh and Punjab during the pandemic period.

The committee consisted of Justice Rajiv Sharma, Justice RK Jain, Justice Jaswant Singh, Justice Daya Chaudhary, Justice Rajan Gupta, Justice Tejinder Singh Dhindsa, and Justice Gurvinder gill.

The Chief justice of Punjab and Haryana HC pondered for the  resolution while gazing into the matter as how the modus operandi of the District’s and High Court’s have been affected by the pandemic of covid-19.

The committee is to provide recommendations after analyzing the present situation and resolving the confusion concerned with the functioning of District’s and High Court’s in the region.

The chief justice would reconsider all the recommendations and pronounce a proper verdict over the matter later on.
