Eligibility Criteria as are following
Age limit: 21 to 40 years as on 01/07/2021 (Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in age limit)
Education qualification:
Degree of Law from any recognized University / LLB / 5 year Integrate LLB / LLB hons.
Selection procedure:
Selection of the eligible candidates for APO posts will be done through the 3 stage selection methodology. First of all preliminary Recruitment examination will be conducted for all candidates. After that those candidates who will be declared qualified in the written examination they will be call for Main Examination. In the last those candidates who will be declared qualified in the Pre, main examination they will be call for personal interview test.
Commission may conduct pre examination at various examination centers of Allahabad and Lucknow district.
Salary of APO:
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4800
7th pay commission salary of APO -pay Matrix 47600-151100

Preliminary Examination of APO will comprise two parts. Part 1 will contains 50 questions. Question of APO part 1 will be related form latest General knowledge, General awareness, Current event etc. Subject / topic wise questions details of APO part will be as are follows

Current Event of national and international level – 10 Marks

Part 2 : APO part 2 will be related to Law and acts and this section will contains 100 questions from various law subjects.

Indian Penal Code – 35 Marks
Indian Evidence Act – 25 Marks
Criminal Procedure Code – 25 Marks
UP Police Act and Regulations under this Act – 15 Marks
Question of GK and LAW of the written examination will be objective type and MCQ based. Minus marking will be not applicable in this examination. GK Section will carry total 50 marks and Law section will carry total 100 marks.
Question paper will contain 150 objective type questions which will carry 150 marks.
1 mark will be awarded for each correct question.
